About Blackheath & Bromley Harriers AC
With Blackheath Harriers tracing their origins back to October 1869 (as Peckham Hare and Hounds), Blackheath and Bromley Harriers AC are one of the oldest and most successful athletics clubs in the country.
We regularly compete in track and field, cross country and road running competitions across the country at a range of levels. Our Senior Men and Women are in the top division of the NAL and our Junior team are arguably the strongest in the U.K., regularly winning the YDL and representing Great Britain with distinction in the European Clubs Championship. We also have thriving teams in our younger age groups and close links with the local community.
We are excited to be moving into a new community hub at Norman Park next year, shortly after the Club’s 150th anniversary.
