The first race of the Ray Hall Memorial League 2023 took place on Sunday 22nd October at Sutcliffe Park. This league provides a valuable opportunity for race walkers.

Luke Eperon came first in his race in a time of 10:49.32 for the U13 boys in his debut race. Setting a club record* in the 1500m walk! Luke had only recently transitioned from the clubs academy pathway and after just a few sessions is in good form for the rest of the season!

Trejan Checked-Boamah was 1st U15 boy with a time of 11:03.91 in the 2000m walk. Setting himself a new PB and beating the club record previously held by Jonathan Ellerton*
