On Sunday 3rd December 2023 Blackheath and Bromley took on Ranelagh Harriers in the mob match! This mob match also incorporated our club 7.5mile Championships and the Bennet Cup.

1st over the finish line was our men’s xc captain, Micah Evans, in a time of 44:18. Shortly followed by Mark Leyshon (Ranelagh) in 44:41 and David Lawley (Ranelagh) in 45:12. The first three women over the line were Suzy Whatmough (Ranelagh) in 51:15, Ashley Pearson (BBHAC) in 53:49 and Katy Sugden (BBHAC) in 59:59.

Congratulations to Peter Haarer (Ranelagh) for winning the Harry Sheer Trophy as the 1st over 50 to finish (48:13).

With lowest score winning, unfortunately BBHAC lost the mob match, scoring 19 a side, with a total of 393 points to Ranelagh’s 348!

This mob match also contribute to the Bennet Cup. Currently leading after 4 events is Matthew Bullen with 132pts. Completing our top 5, in second we have Luca Ercolain (124pts), third is Luigi Arcuri (119pts), fourth is Micah Evans (104pts) and fifth Mark Ellison (83pts).
