The NAL Championship East fixture was held at Norman Park on Saturday 19 July. This turned out to be a very exciting fixture where we ran out winners of the meeting, scoring 639 points to Chelmsford’s 559. Unfortunately, this was not quite sufficient for the club to qualify for the Championship Final.

The men’s 3000m was won by Jack Kavanagh of Blackheath & Bromley in a Championship and League record time of 7.58.23. Congratulations’ Jack!!

A more detailed report to follow but thank you to the athletes in their efforts to enable the win and to the judges and volunteers who helped on the day.
