- Was it lucky Iain chose the Thursday night for this one, which avoided a clash with Wednesday’s England match?
- Was it lucky that the event finally had Summer weather?
- Was it lucky that 18 of tonight’s 21 runners finished within a 2 minute window?
You can make your own mind up on those, but clearly Ian Scott made his own luck to be first over the finish line. Ian was just a few seconds ahead of Lewis Fishlock and Steve Evenden, while scratchman Philip Bunn was (again) fastest on the night, and Liz Bunn made it a family double as quickest female finisher.
