Blackheath and Bromley Harriers AC is a friendly, welcoming and inclusive club, catering for athletes of all ages, abilities and interests. We have a thriving junior section for athletes aged 11 and above, alongside strong Senior and Vets teams competing across a wide range of distances and events. Coaching sessions are available for most track and field disciplines.
Monday lunchtimes sees a group of varying standards train on the track. There is a strong group that trains at the track on a Tuesday evening focussed on middle distance to marathon. We also host a social training night every Wednesday, with groups running at a variety of paces for around 10k – there is something suitable for everyone.
We are always delighted to welcome new members and would love to hear from you.
Joining the Club
Junior Athletes (Ages 11–18)
For athletes aged 11–18, the Academy is the main entry route into the club. The Academy is ideal for those without previous club-level experience, offering a supportive introduction to athletics while developing the skills and knowledge needed to progress into the club’s elite training groups.
All JUNIOR membership enquiries to the academy (bbathleticsacademy@gmail.com)
Adult Athletes
Adults interested in joining the club will be put in touch with one of our coaches or team managers to discuss training sessions, times and availability within our coaching groups. Prospective members will be invited to attend a taster session before being considered for membership.
