Celebrating Blackheath and Bromley Harriers AC’s Olympic Futures Success

Blackheath & Bromley Harriers AC is proud to congratulate five of our exceptional athletes and their dedicated coaches on their selection for the prestigious British Athletics Olympic Futures Programme for 2024-25. This recognition highlights their talent, dedication, and promise on the path to representing Great Britain on the international stage.

Honoured Athletes:
Daniel Goriola
Sam Reardon
Zara Obamakinwa
Bekah Walton
Jeriel Quainoo
Their inclusion in the programme acknowledges their incredible achievements and positions them among the brightest young talents in British athletics. This programme is instrumental in developing athletes with potential for future Olympic success, and we are thrilled to see our athletes stepping up to this level.

Acknowledging Outstanding Coaching:
We also extend heartfelt congratulations to Nigel Stickings, whose guidance and expertise have been instrumental in Sam Reardon’s development. Nigel has also made a significant impact beyond the club, coaching non-club athlete Charlotte Henrich, who has also been selected for the Futures Programme. His dedication to nurturing and inspiring athletes is a testament to the quality of coaching at Blackheath & Bromley Harriers AC.

Supporting Future Champions:
The Olympic Futures Programme not only recognizes talent but also provides athletes and their coaches with invaluable resources to refine their skills and prepare for the highest levels of competition. Blackheath & Bromley Harriers AC remains committed to supporting our athletes and coaches as they strive for excellence.

We are incredibly proud of Daniel, Sam, Zara, Bekah, Jeriel, and Nigel for this achievement. They exemplify the club’s ethos of tradition, excellence, and inclusion. Congratulations to all—your hard work and perseverance continue to inspire us all.
