Results of Champs and Bennett Cup
A chilly day, and a little shower shortly after the off for the 25 starters. There were 21 finishers as a handful of the younger starters only ever intended to do around half the distance, having ran parkruns (quickly!) in the morning. Great to have them involved though, and see the club spirit is strong among the the junior contingent.
Jennie Butler is the ladies Club 5 mile champ while Micah Evans added the 5 mile to his collection of victories across various distances over recent years. Aiofe and Johnny won the Junior events.
In the Bennett Cup, William Reedman-White was the day’s winner, which moved him up to 2nd overall after 3 events, a point behind Micah and just ahead of Angelina Stephens, Jennie and David Adams
